Six weeks: The AgAb (duo, combo, 4th generation) blood tests are conclusive 6 weeks or more after exposure. For 3rd generation antibody tests, 8 weeks. Where older (e.g. 2nd generation) antibody tests are still in use, 3 months. Also 3 mo. for oral fluids test. Never longer: advice for testing beyond 3 months or more is left over from old tests no longer used; or from sources unfamiliar with modern tests.
