A member asked:

I have been getting nightsweats during sleep for months. i get very hot. its not every day but its often and its really ruining my sleep quality. what can cause this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Heat sensitivity: We all have varying tolerance to temperature changes. Nightsweats have been noted, on occasion, to be c/w chronic infections or inflammations, but could certainly be associated with thyroid dysfunction. Best to seek out a local physician to check your general and specific stability.
