A member asked:

I've been waking myself up during sleep by lightly stroking my face, chest or arms and often get night sweats . is this some kind of sleep disorder?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Night sweats: If the temperature is not too high in your bed room, night sweats can be an important symptom of infection or another problem. It is a good idea to have a face to face check up with this symptom. There are sleep disorders when movements occur, but light touching of the face, chest or arms is apparently not one of them.
