Stimulants: I think a couple of things may contribute to that. ADHD is considered to be one of the most over-diagnosed psychiatric conditions & stimulants are considered one of the most over-prescribed medications. Often a diagnosis of ADHD is made without meeting DSM criteria. Some stimulants can be abused. Stimulants are "performance enhancers" so improving with them is not proof of ADHD.
