A member asked:

I had a miscarriage in march last year and only did a womb scarp on the 1st of december 2020 and i've been bleeding for 3 weeks now should i go back to the gynecologist?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ABN BLEEDING: After a "scarp," which I assume is "scrape," you should have minimal bleeding and resume menstruation after several weeks so that pregnancy dating is easier and more reliable. If the bleeding is heavy, it suggests that all pregnancy material was not removed. Call and report your continued bleeding to the doctor who performed the D&C (scrape).
