A member asked:

If i have signs of a tooth infection, but the earliest dentist appointment is in two weeks and i was getting a bit feverish last night, does it make sense to start antibiotics during this long weekend until i can find an earlier dentist appointment?

Antibiotic: Antibiotics should never be given without an evaluation. You should never have left-over antibiotics lying around, that means you didn't take full dose the last time. And if old, they are probably ineffective. Find a Dentist that can see you, evaluate you, and decide if antibiotic is proper course of treatment. And yes, you should be seen as soon as possible.
