Irregular period: Irregular periods are common. Causes of an irregular period include: pregnancy, hormonal fluctuations due to stress, too much exercise, lack of sleep, new medications, thyroid imbalance, uterine fibroids or wall thickening. The periods should self regulate over 1-3 months. If they do not or If you are concerned about other causes, talk to your Dr for examination and testing.
