My 7week old baby vomits frequently, has a wet burp from time to time and almost always has phlegm in his throat. could this be a reflux issue? and is nexium safe to use? ive consulted with a doctor already, im just hoping to get another opinion.

The treatment for GERD often requires medication but adding rice cereal to the feeds is often sufficient. Track the baby's growth with your pediatrician. Poor growth is one criteria for treatment with medication and other considerations include pyloric stenosis.
