Hi. i have a sharp pain on my neck that is traveling down my back and my shoulders. it hurt more when i move my head and my shoulders have a lump when the pain is. the pharmacy gave me uniflex and rheugesic but it doesnt seem to be working?

Neck shoulder pain : Please see a doctor in person. It is difficult to diagnosis you without an examination. This may be a disc problem or nerve problem in the neck

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may take acetaminophen for pain, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol. It would be prudent to see a doctor. For the long term, regular aerobic exercise will keep your muscles healthy.
