Head trauma: With these symptoms I would bring your child to the local ER. Regular x-rays only show fractured bones and the most serious head trauma involved bleeding into the brain like a subdural hepatoma. This can only be diagnosed by a CT scan or MRI scan. The ER physician will determine if these tests are indicated.
