My right nostril is super sore. i think its from rubbing it. it is mainly sore on the outside though. what can i do to stop this pain? it feels like someone punched me there that is what the pain feels like and it just stays there and doesnt go away?

Sore nostril: If soreness is accompanied by marked redness, a bacterial infection (cellulitis) could be present and they can be serious in that region of the face. Oral antibiotics would be needed. Another possibility is an impending herpes simplex infection(cold sore). Apply antibacterial ointment after hot(not too hot) compresses and if soreness persists and spreading redness develops, see your physician.
