See below: The most common cause is migraine, which can be triggered by seasonal changes, physiologic changes, stress, etc. To rule out other causes, it would be advised to have audiometric testing to rule out possible otologic cause/contribution. If audiometric testing is abnormal, please consult with an otolaryngologist.

Paroxysmal vertigo: If the child suffers headaches, or sudden periodic nausea and vomiting, the vertigo would likely fit a migraine scenario. Depending upon the complexity and severity, you could decide if involvement from a neurologist is warranted.
