Need diagnosis: Dizziness in children as in adults requires a specific diagnosis. There are metabolic diseases such as diabetes, thyroid disease, that need to be ruled out. Inner ear disease usually causes true spinning that may be associated with a hearing loss. Central disease (brain) needs to be ruled out. Anemia is another possibility.
