Rising levels: Your HCG levels could have been still rising at the time of your test. So when you started bleeding, your levels may have been higher than 8. Then when you tested it was still positive. Keep testing. If your test doesnt go to negative in the next week or two, or if you start having pain especially on one side then contact your doctor or go to the er due to possible ectopic pregnancy.
