I am suffering from vagina/vulva itch and burning. i consulted doctor and used antibiotics for a week. also using creams they prescribed(very expensive). nothing changed. what is the best over-the-counter cream for itching and burning?

Yeast infection?: Yeast infection is a very common cause of vaginal itching. It can be triggered by antibiotics, and made worse by steroid creams, so you might have received exatly the wrong medications. Try an OTC anti-yeast drug -- any product with active ingredient ending in "azole" (miconazole, clotrimazole, and others) -- all equally good, choose the cheapest. See doctor if this doesn't clear it up.
