Re-exam: This is actually a common problem. Sometimes the correct infection is diagnosed and the treatment just takes longer to have an effect. Sometimes a stronger treatment is needed. And sometimes the problem may be different and require a separate treatment. Especially in this situation different infections or irritations can look similar but be treated in different ways

What was the Dr's diagnosis? You forgot to identify the cream and the antibiotic. What are they? It is not common to prescribe an antibiotic for itch. Metronidazole? Why a vaginal cream if itch is outside? Start over and supply useful information in order to have a chance for a useful answer.
