Relax: The feature is simple evidence that the tube between your middle ear and throat is open enough for air to move into it (the pop). It is a natural/normal reflex when you yawn or swallow, which straightens the tube. It may signal some tube swelling from allergies/cold but this is minor. It should fade when the issue resolves.
