Broken jaw?: Ask your Dentist for the name of a good Oral Surgeon in your area. Review of x-rays or preferably a CBCT would reveal the presence of a (by now) healed fracture.

See prior answers.: Did you have any medical evaluation at the time? The area should be evaluated by dental personnel...I would suggest an oral/maxillofacial surgeon. There is probably some interruption of the integrity of the jaw bone (mandible) due to trauma. More diagnostic study is required.
