PEP for HIV exposure: As you likely know, the frequency of heterosexually transmitted HIV is very high in your country. The level of risk from this single exposure depends on your partner's sexual lifestyle up til now: if he's had multiple partners or past STI, PEP probably would be wise. The two of you could go together for HIV testing -- if negative, you could stop PEP when you learn the result.
