Diagnosed with minor plague of lad, rad and has been taking atorvastatin 20 , isosorbide 5 + asp but conditions worsening, having muscle pain and numbness on left side. when go 4 review give same medcs. my bp av 133/80 and sugar 80 your advice?

Muscle pain: In situations like yours I have had success by discontinuing the atorvastatin for a week and then switching to rosuvastatin which is hydrophilic and much less likely to cause muscle pain. Also, A less potent statin, pravastatin is much less.apt to cause muscle pain. 10 mgs of rosuvastatin or 40 mgs of pravastatin would be equivalent to 20 mgs of atorvastatin.
