Allergic reaction: He may be experiencing an allergic reaction. Other causes include an upper respiratory infection. Children with family members who are allergic are more prone to develop allergies. Monitor his temperature, and watch for signs of rash, swelling and difficulty breathing. Provide one dose of an antihistamine for children dose per weight after consultation with you pediatrician and pharmacist.
