A member asked:

For the past 12 years, my calcium 9.3-11mg/dl, most frequent value 10.8, pth 16-35, albumin ~5, some sites say calcium should be corrected upwards or downwards for albumin, others emphasize that the correction is only upwards, what is the truth?

Hypercalcemia: Your labs suggest possible primary hyper parathyroidism causing hypercalcemia.... your high albumen suggests you were dehydrated at the time of the blood draw. You should be evaluated by an endocrinologist.
