What can one do if they are losing alot of blood from their menstruation? feeling light headed and have headache and wondering how to get ones iron up.

Anemia: Or low blood due to low iron is likely. Best would be to start with your GP for an exam and recommendations based on your current medical history. Iron supplements are available, some are poorly tolerated, but would suggest starting with a comprehensive eval in order also to consider work up/ treatment for the heavy menstrual bleeding. If established with Gyn, you may start with them.

See below: Your doctor can prescribe pills that can limit your periods to once a year. You probably are anemic and should take oral iron and multivitamins to address that. Drink enough water so that your urine is mostly colorless. Wish you good health!
