Good day i do not know the procedure to take, i have been in contact with someone on monday and they tested positive on tuesday for covid, since tuesday , ive been self isolating. should i only get tested when i start develop symptoms?

COVID 19: If you quarantine for full period required in South Africa, then testing is usually not required. You can wait to get symptoms or wait 5 to 7 days after COVID 19 contacted to get tested if you want most accurate results. Take care.
