Regardless of how healthy your diet and weight are, a diet high in oils will result in oily stool. Try cutting back on the amount of oils in your diet. Certain dietary supplements and medications can also cause oily stool. If you are taking orlistat or fish/ essential oils, this can show up in your stool.
