Concussion: Posttraumatic headaches do occur after head injuries, but I think there is something atypical about the frequency and type of headaches you're experiencing. If you sustained a significant head injury 3 weeks ago I recommend consulting a neurologist and having a head CT scan, if the specialist agrees, to rule out an expanding subdural hematoma.

See neurologist: Your post-traumatic headaches can be medically managed and likely prevented. An experienced neurologist can help! The headaches following head injury can vary in location and intensity, but intervention can stabilize the situation.

TMJ: Looks like you've got great answers already--I'm sorry about your concussion! If a neurologist's result comes out normal yet you continue to suffer, I recommend seeing a dentist who is trained in TMJ therapy. The joints are designed to dislocate easily to function. As a result, they are prone to fall into a bad position and can cause pain in the ear, eye, head, joint, etc. --splint may be ordered.
