A member asked:

Why am i still experiencing the same pain i had before having gold-bladder surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

For gallbladder : When you have your gallbladder removed, the surgery can be complicated by stones that were present in the common bile duct which leads to the intestine. If this was present, even though your surgeon would have removed the stones, you can still have some pain afterward. However if this pain persists it is best to check in with your surgeon to make sure of the cause for the pain.
