The first thing the ER doctor will want to know is if you are pregnant with the baby in the wrong place, an ectopic. The differential diagnosis based on your symptoms also includes gallstones, infected gallbladder, kidney stone, kidney infection (pyelonephritis), and appendicitis. You need to be examined NOW.

Upper abd pain : Is it possible that you need to go to the emergency room now - yes. There is not enough information to say for sure. What can this be? Gall bladder problem, liver problem, colon problem kidney problem, pneumonia. I wish I could be sure, but if you would like to provide more details it can help or can delay your need for help now.
