Can ear infection cause tmd?

Ear Infection : I'm assuming you mean TMJ (temperomandibular joint) syndrome. An ear infection can not cause it but opening an closing your mouth can cause discomfort on the side of the ear infection because the middle ear is inflamed and is located near the TMJ.
