COVID 19: Work to keep blood sugars within an acceptable range. Rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. May use acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Naprosyn is a good choice if NSAID’s are used. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

Covid: There is no specific treatment for covid infections other than drinking plenty of room temperature water. Some advocate taking vitamins D & C. and take acetaminophen for fever. Keep in touch with your MD for instructions If respiratory distress should occur go to the hospital emergency room for evaluation. These recommendations are no different for diabetics who must keep their diabetes controlle
