A member asked:

What could cause a slightly persistently raised crp (8) with no other abnormalities on fbc and no infection markers?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Multiple : Basic sign of inflammation. Could be allergy or dental problem or use of BCP. Need to have at least two tests several weeks apart for valid analysis, and also pair with cholesterol and lipid tests if worried about heart disease. Look into diet and supplements that lower inflammation.
