See answer : Please discuss with your obstetrician and be honest about the dose and duration, he/she will be able to help you better. Quitting now, will do more harm than good because of the withdrawal symptoms depending on the dose you are on.

If they look for it: It is hard to remove all traces from a babies system but the sooner you stop, the less likely they will look for it. You baby is making poo that has traces in it, their hair if tested will show it, the urine may show it if you use within days of delivery.
