The gland on the right of my mother's face is very swollen; she has been complaining since yesterday. she has acute myeloid leukaemia & memory-loss. we have been isolating since 26th and i am nervous to take her to a hospital. please help!

Evaluation needed: It is likely that she has an acute infection of the parotid gland and if it is of bacterial origin, it is a serious infection that requires urgent treatment with appropriate systemic antibiotics and pain management is often needed. Call her physician for instructions.
