Saline eye wash: Bleach is a caustic and irritating chemical. Rinsing with water is a good reflex action! Unfortunately water is also a little irritating as the liquid in our eyes is saline. Send someone to the store to get you an eyewash solution which will be more soothing to your eye and surrounding tissue. (not eye drops, but eyewash). Monitor the redness and your vision. Any concerns talk to your Dr.

Hello, I have had my left eye watering constantly for perhaps a week now, and wiping away tears/discharge has now irritated the skin around my eye. Also, it has been painful to press on the inside corner of my eye for quite a few weeks, and I am unsure if this is related.
