Follow-up desirable: Forthwhile getting clearance with urinalysis about a week after completeing antibiotic tretment. Hopefully antibiotic prescribed was sensitive to klebsiella grown from your urine culture

Check urine sample: I don't know that you need a visit with the doctor so much as just a lab test where your urine is rechecked to make sure infection has cleared. This is especially important if you've had problems with recurring infections. See if your doctor will just call in an order for a urinalysis - some will without seeing you, some won't.
