My dr have me prednisone for inflamed sinuses, ear canal, head pressure on one side of face, after sudafed didnt work. how long does it usually take to clear up inflammation? thank you?

Varies: If you are on an adequate dose you should feel some results within 1-5 days with further improvement possible with ongoing treatment beyond that. Work with physician to determine length of time you need treatment because the longer you stay on the prednisone the greater the need for tapering the medication versus just stopping abruptly.
