What is recommended to help pregnant women with constipation?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Constipation ?'s: In pregnancy, a mild medication such as Dulcolax suppositories may work well, but ask your OB physician about alternatives, as he/she is best qualified to advise you. In the meantime, add more water or liquids, and the problem may correct w/o medication.
