Possible: It is possible because it is an infectious condition, though transmission through this mechanism is unlikely.

Unlikely: The yeast lives normally as part of the GI flora. You are predisposed to vaginitis by high blood glucose levels, antibiotics, changes in vaginal acidity, and a variety of other factors. It would be very unusual to develop yeast vaginitis through a bar of soap or other inanimate objects, but nothing is impossible.
