Ophthalmolgy ?'s: Deviation of your eye(s) to the extreme left or right gaze can cause temporary reduction of blood supply, which will cause retinal imaging to produce "white dots/stars". If this does not occur at other times (i.e., only with extreme gaze to one side), it is not concerning. If repeated, get a referral to an ophthalmologist.
