Typical six weeks: Antibiotic and pain medication is must with surgical extraction . Loose tooth extraction can heal without Antibiotic.

It might not: And it's dry socket, not dry rot. Caused when blood clot is lost prematurely and bone becomes infected. Spreading infection can be not only painful but dangerous. Treating Dentist should be able to pack the socket with medicated dressing to help healing, but to expect miracles without medication is delusional. Life spa n is double today what it was before modern medicine. Call Dentist for help.
