Not a good thing.: You can become pregnant at any point after giving birth if not using contraceptives. This can be a negative thing because your body needs time to repair itself from the significant trauma of giving birth. Breastfeeding will not act as a sufficient contraceptive even if done exclusively. See your Dr about a progesterone pill, a copper/progesterone IUD or other contraceptive.
