Best asking surgeon : I believe your inquiry is too soon to ask questions other than to your surgeon. I believe he/she is in the best position to answer any questions and concerns you may have. However, there is never a problem in seeking a second opinion.

Get examined: Not fully obvious to me, but would consider possible thrombophlebitis and R/O with venous NIVA. Also, might wonder about abnormal gait secondary to post operative discomfort, and consider tarsal tunnel irritation. But best by far is followup by your surgeon.
