6-8weeks: As long as everything is going well for you, you could wait until 6-8 weeks to see your provider. But you should get on prenatal vitamins as they can help with controlling nausea, prevent miscarriage and prevent fetal anomalies. If you have a hx of medical problems, (diabetes or hypertension), however , you should see a provideras soon as possible.

By 10 weeks: It is wise to see an OB doctor early in pregnancy - the sooner the better. You should definitely try and have your initial OB visit by the time you are 10 weeks pregnant, if not before. If for some reason you can't arrange a visit by then, do so as soon as you can. And congratulations!
