Hemorrhoid: There are blood vessels just inside the anus that can become enlarged (internal hemorrhoids). They will typically go away if you are able to avoid straining for up to 2 weeks. Make sure you are drinking at least 3 liters of non caffeine fluids daily, increase your dietary fiber intake, and if needed, take a sennoside based laxative to keep your stool soft and avoid straining.
