Please tell your Dr.: Most important thing I see is ongoing pain. If you're sure its diverticulitis (proven by tests) its VERY important to know not all cases respond to antibiotic pills. Some need IV antibiotics, or need abscess (pus collection) drainage by needle in a CT scan; some need colectomy (bowel removal surgery). Using antibiotic pills 1st is proper, but won't cure all. Tell your Dr. if you still have pain.
