I believe i have covid. so from around monday or tuesday last week i had symptoms of fever, chill, aches, and loss of smell or taste until saturday. then the final symptom i got is dry cough on saturday, so wondering how long until the cough goes?

Variable: The infection may resolve soon or in a few weeks. Watch for signs of secondary infection and pneumonia. These signs include fever, worsening cough and shortness of breath. Have a flu vaccine, stay isolated for at least 14 days, three days with no fever, whichever is longer. Drink fluids, rest and monitor symptoms.

Can't say for sure.: It is not uncommon to pulmonary sequella for weeks to months later depending on severity of illness.
