Candesartan Kidney: YES 1. It likely protects your kidneys from the effects of high blood pressure if it lowers your BP. If not you many need a med that works in a different way. 2. If the BP is lowered very well then the eGFR may go down a bit and kidney function will appear worsened but prob not. Discuss with your team as I know nothing about you and may be way off base.
