My aunt just had a surgery and prescribed with atacand (candesartan) 16mg. she had a low potassium, high kreatine level and kidney problem. pls advise if its ok ?

Atacand (candesartan) may not be..: The best choice when renal problems already exist. Labetolol and calcium channel blockers, and/or hydralizine may be better options. At this point i would recommend seeing a nephrologist!
