Rhinitis: Flonase is used to treat sinus and nasal inflammation. Nasal steroid sprays work best when used every day. You may find that another steroid spray works better for you than flonase. Other treatments include otc saline sinus rinse, oral antihistamines e g Loratadine or fexofenadine, and nasal antihistamine sprays. You may see a doctor for allergy testing and to rule out / treat sinus infection.
