Trying to support local restaurants during the shutdown. cooks are pulling their masks down. does that put all of us at risk if they are asymptomatic and breathing on the food? this is a nightmare?

Droplets airborne: If there is transmission to the respiratory tract including the nose, this may result in COVID 19. The illness is not food borne however.

Yes: Of course. I would not patronize such restaurants. The mode of transmission of Covid 19 has been established: respiratory droplet spread by infected persons, including asymptomatic persons, when coughing, sneezing, talking, singing, etc. Droplet transmission to food items is an obvious danger.
